Are you dissatisfied with your actual job, or is it an industry-wide problem?
There are negatives with every job. Maybe your current company doesn’t offer employees health insurance, perhaps the hours are long, or the commute is horrific. Or maybe your boss is just difficult. These problems are subject to change if you switch jobs.
But if it’s an industry-wide issue and you’re sick of putting up with the same problem no matter what company you work for, it might be time to admit defeat and try something new.

Identifying what aspects of your career you love and what aspects you hate will give you a good grasp on what you should do.
