The job holder, under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, performs highly professional accounting tasks within the area of assignment.
The job holder is responsible to ensure timely updates of daily statement posting, handle the daily reporting, reconciliation and assist in journal voucher preparation and record in financial system.
The job holder is also responsible to analyze and verify the gross margin, various expense accounts, pass necessary accruals as needed and analyze financial figures posted in financial system.
In addition, she/he is as well responsible for VAT accounting, compliance, related reconciliation and submitting tax return to ENOC Group for an individual company or a group of companies in line with the policies and procedures as agreed.Detailed Description
Prepare daily statements for posting.
Prepare daily cash deposit reconciliation with cash deposited.
Verify issues related to various method of payment and prepare the related reconciliation.
Provide unreconciled balances to reconciliation team.
Ensure and verify Month-End process completed and the data imported to GL successfully.
Responsible for ensuring timely preparation of Management Reporting and Group Reporting Forms and Analysis, thus providing Senior Management with Group and Segment results for corrective action to improve business results.
Responsible as GL owner to ensure the accuracy of the GL and communicate to the Controller/Manager details of accounts and reconciliation of accounts wherein exceptions are noted. All areas of concern to be highlighted for both financial and operations controls.
The job holder will provide support in assigning account codes to business units users
Create new customer profiles in the ENOC System (CRM)
Process and review the customer information (e.g., for LC customers, cash customers…)
Align with finance seniors for any edits or approval for customer documents
Manage and extract from ENOC Link portal customer reports
Generate customer invoices using ENOC Link transaction reports
Access and utilize ENOC Group IT system to generate valid invoices
Allocate in the ENOC System customer payments (Cash, cards, bank transfer)
Overall highly familiar with Oracle system
Responsible for financial review of operations ensuring safe guarding of assets and minimization of liabilities by bringing to the attention of the Chief Financial Officer regarding areas of improvement and concern.
Responsible for preparation of various reports and analyses such as break-even, daily price bulletin which will enable management to take operational decisions.
Responsible for ensuring timely and smooth completion of external audit by preparing various schedules, reporting forms and reconciliation required for the audit and in co-ordination with the Controller - Management Planning & Performance Reporting resolving various queries raised and providing information required by them.
The job holder is required to have knowledge of International Accounting Standards and Interpretations and keep himself updated with revisions and additions to the Standards in order to enable the accounts to be prepared in accordance with the International Accounting Standard.
Apart from the external auditors, the job holder will also be responsible for liaising and providing information/schedules to internal, government and quality auditors to enable smooth completion of all such audits.

Interacting with line management to bring to their attention relevant issues and by being pro-active to bring about necessary action to enhance company profitability.
Assisting in Budgets and Plans
The job holder assists the Controller - Management Planning & Performance Reporting in corporate strategic planning - by assisting in reviewing the assumptions of the budget and plan and reviewing the consolidated Financial budget/plan.
Responsible for Analysis and investigation of variances and exceptions in the above reports and advice Controller on remedial actions.
Responsible for Analysis of variances between actual and forecast and advice Controller on remedial actions.
Responsible for interacting with IT with a view to ensuring accuracy of monthly costing and inventory reports, system improvements and adapting to changing business conditions.
Professional Qualification in finance (CA, ACCA, CPA, MBA) or
Bachelor Degree in Finance
4 to 6 years of professional experience
Good communication skills
